Dennis Knous, NYI President

Nazarene Youth International is an organization in the Church of the Nazarene devoted to helping teens find Christ as their personal Savior. Our local NYI meets most Sunday evenings at 6 PM, however there is no teen meeting the last Sunday of each month. See calendar for dates and times of teen activities.

Our teens participate in many district and regional activities with other teens from around Ohio and neighboring states.  Teen B.L.A.S.T. (Building Leaders and Sharing Talents) is a competition where teens can use their talents, such as singing, ping pong playing, chess, bench press, drama and crafts, to praise the Lord.  District B.L.A.S.T. is held every spring with top scorers going to the Regional B.L.A.S.T. in June.

Teen Quizzing challenges kids to learn a certain book of the Bible and compete with other teens in quiz meets.  This is an activity that takes place all during the school year.  It begins in August and runs through May.

In the summer teens can participate in Youth Camp.  Dates for this camp have yet to be announced.
